Request an appointment with the School of Nursing (SON) Office of Student Affairs.

As a functioning academic health science center, the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) adheres to legal guidelines under FERPA and HIPAA regulations. All in-person meetings require an appointment.

To ensure we give our prospective students the attention they deserve, UMMC SON prospective student meetings are held by appointment only. We kindly request that all meetings be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance to streamline our scheduling process.

Please use our Bookings app to select a time that works for you. In the notes section, specify your program(s) of interest and any topics you wish to discuss during our meeting. This information will enable us to prepare effectively and maximize our time together. If you want a courtesy transcript evaluation (form), please request it at least seven (7) business days in advance.

Small group visits

Are you a community college or college student wanting to visit the SON with other prospective students? SON program interest events will be offered as official UMMC SON events for small groups. Program Interest events will be hosted quarterly. Events will be scheduled and posted on our Workday Calendar of Events so you can register to participate.
